Royal Icing Chili Peppers

I just piped a peck of peppers using this tip, the quatrefoil-shaped Ateco #83. As you can imagine, this is one of the easiest projects EVER. 
 Stick a parchment paper square to a flower nail with a dab from a glue stick. Alternately, you could pipe the peppers without a nail; just tape some parchment paper to a cookie sheet. Hold the tip at a 45 degree angle, squeeze out a ball to start, then move the tip along in a gentle zig-zag motion for about 3/4". Stop pressure and pull the tip away.
You can probably pipe at least three peppers on one square.
 Set them aside to firm up for a while. Placing them under a desk lamp will speed up this process.
 When the peppers are firm, pipe a tiny puddle of green icing with a round #2 tip at the top.
 Then, pipe a stem by placing the tip against the top, squeeze briefly, and pull the tip away. Nudge the stem into the desired shape with a fingertip after touching it to a dusting pouch filled with a 50/50 mix of cornstarch and powdered sugar.
 Pipe as many peppers as you need to decorate cupcakes or some other dessert for a fiesta, Southwestern-themed party, or celebration of all things hot!
